With the OCULUS GONIO ready®, surgeons can now attach the gonio lens to the microscope and have two free hands for surgery. This opens new possibilities for surgical methods and adds a degree of safety for both the patient and the surgeon.
Thanks to the patented Flex System from OCULUS, the gonio lens of the GONIO ready® gently floats atop the cornea. This reduces the risk of corneal striae as well as minimizes image distortion. Its flexible material allows for dynamic positioning while sufficiently resisting any displacement caused by patient movement during MIGS.
The unique lens design with its small footprint offers better access to corneal incisions for MIGS devices without sacrificing visual quality. Despite its small size, the gonio lens in OCULUS quality provides a comparably large field of view (up to 180°). As a single-use product, the GONIO ready® comes in a sterile blister pack: without risk of infection or sterilization “down time,” the GONIO ready® supports an efficient MIGS Workflow.
The GONIO ready® attaches easily to the microscope, allowing for consistent and stable lens positioning. Adapters are available for a wide range of ophthalmic microscopes, making it readily accessible for many existing OR setups.
