Kejako developped a finite element model of the human eye and demonstrated the human accomodation processes as well as it loss and confirmed the explaination of presbyopia in silico.
Thereafter Kejako performed a feasibility experimentation on hundreds of pig eyes and confirmed the ability of the technology to restore circa 1,5 diopters of accomodation thanks to its proprietary femtosecond laser parameters and patern.
Then Kejako conducted animal study on rabbits to confirm the safety of the technology.
Recently further funded, the company is currently extending its experimentation to a screening of the best parameters and optimized treatment conditions, in order to design a predictable and repeatable presbyopia treatment.
