ESCRS iNovation® Day 2023 presents “The Innovators Den: EyeCare Pioneers”. Applications are now open!
The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) is excited to open applications for a very special new programme, “The Innovators Den: EyeCare Pioneers” as part of ESCRS iNovation® Day 2023 taking place in Vienna, Austria on 8 September 2023.
Do you have an idea that you feel will improve the future of ophthalmology, but you are not sure of what to do next? Are you still considering how to get your great idea to fruition? This session is for you! This is your chance to submit your idea, get help and guidance from an experienced mentor and potentially earn a spot on stage at ESCRS iNovation® Day 2023.
We are looking for entrepreneurs who have personally developed unique ideas to address some of the biggest unmet needs of ESCRS delegates. Submit your best idea today!
“The Innovators Den: EyeCare Pioneers” session will feature winning presentations in three different categories:
- Sustainability: ideas to help conserve resources in surgery/clinic or to help decrease the environmental footprint
- Devices/Techniques: surgical technique, new device, application, etc.
- Pharmaceutical/Therapeutic Solutions
Choose which category fits your innovation best and submit your application. If accepted, you will be paired with a knowledgeable mentor who will help guide you through the process on how to create a compelling pitch that you will submit to the judges.
We have an esteemed panel of judges who will pick a winner from each category to present. Each of the three winners will present at ESCRS iNovation® Day 2023 to the attendees which includes ophthalmologists, industry leaders, venture capitalists and many others.
Submissions will be reviewed by the ESCRS iNovation® Day 2023 Programme Committee.
